Walkin‘ Pets Combo Rear Harness supports your dog’s hinds which means if they have weak back legs, or an instability of the hips the harness helps your dog move. This acts as a walking aid when your dog cannot support themselves on their hind legs.
A good support system for your dog who finds it difficult to move is essential. With a sturdy physical support you provide mental support in terms of confidence. Remember your dog trusts you- they rely on you to give them direction. Once they realise the harness is fact their friend, you will notice the difference in the way they move.

Please make sure you consult your vet before ordering or deciding to use this or any other harness.

Why do we suggest you ask your vet?
The harness is a medical aid. Though it is an external device, you are using it for an injured or senior dog.
Your veterinarian or rehabilitation therapist is your primary source of advice, they are the best judge for your dogs medical needs.

This harness may used instead of the Leg Rings in the Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair. It may also be used in combination with the Front Combo Harness

How to choose the best size for your dog

  • Measure the girth of one of your dog’s back legs, all the way around at the belly – as seen in the photo below.
  • Keep in mind, the fit should be firm but not tight. In the case of older dogs who need the harness only as a support a slightly looser fit will do.
