Please read and circulate, your pets cannot infect you. We do not need an epidemic of abandoned pets to add to a difficult situation. An abandoned pet forces a rescuer, welfare worker, NGO to leave their homes or place of work and put themselves in danger. The system is a overburdened, and shelters operate on shoe string budgets and limited capacity, please do not add to the burden.
